Aluminium is quickly becoming the material of choice with contemporary homes and period renovations. Frames are generally slimmer offering a cleaner and less restricted view from the window or door whilst offering some of the greatest standards of insulation.

At tru. we supply “A” rated glazing as standard as all frames are thermally broken so condensation cannot travel through the metal.

Why should you choose this product?

With great versatility, aluminium can be shaped and adapted to any style.

Aluminium is very durable and hard-wearing, offering complete protection from the elements and good standards of insulation.

There are a range of profiles and appearances but usually comes in a powder coated spray finish. The colours to choose from can be taken from the universal RAL chart and can even have a satin, gloss or matt finish. The frames can also be finished in a dual colour option, most commonly with white on the inside.

Aluminium uses a thinner section to uPVC so can create more of a contemporary look or to simply gain more light through a smaller space.

Because of its durability, aluminium looks better for longer. It’s easy to clean and keeps the colour so doesn’t need repainting every few years, as with timber.

Strong, durable and resistant to corrosion, offering un-equalled security from unwanted visitors and protection from the weather.

Like uPVC, aluminium is light and easy to install so it’s a cheaper alternative to timber.

How you live should determine the products you buy.
