Handles
Handles are fitted to one side of an opening sash and used to unlock and open, and close and lock the window. Dependent on the desired direction of opening, handles can be mounted to the window frame vertically or horizontally, and can be left-handed (turn clockwise) or right-handed (turn anti-clockwise).
All window handles are lockable with a key as standard.

Pegs and stays
Functional pegs and stays can be fitted to the bottom of window frames, close to the opening edge, and used to securely prop open windows at different angles.
Dummy pegs and stays can also be fitted for decorative/aesthetic purposes only, if desired.

Fasteners
Fasteners are fitted to top of the bottom sash on sliding sash windows, and are used to secure and lock the top and bottom sashes together when the windows are closed.
Windows under 700mm wide are fitted with 1 fastener, and windows over 700mm wide are fitted with 2 fasteners as standard.

Pull lifts
Pull lifts are fitted to the bottom of sliding sash windows, and are used to slide the bottom sash up in order to open the window.
Windows are fitted with 2 pull lifts as standard.

Pole eyes
Pole eyes are fitted to the top of a sliding sash window, and are used to pull and slide the top sash down to either open the window or prepare the the top sash to be tilted inwards for easy cleaning of the external glass and frame.
Windows under 700mm wide are fitted with 1 pole eye, and windows over 700mm wide are fitted with 2 pole eyes as standard.

Tilt knobs
Tilt knobs are fitted to the top of the bottom sash on sliding sash windows, and are used to tilt the bottom sash inwards for easy cleaning of the external glass and frame.
Windows are fitted with 2 tilt knobs as standard.
