Truhouse has now completely replaced all the windows and doors in our period country property. Throughout the whole process from initial site visit, through quotation, survey, fitting and snagging the service provided has been nothing short of superb.

We have used Truhouse before to replace a window and when two large screens needed replacing we asked for the same team to install them. Six fitters were needed and they were all brilliant and really helpful. We would highly recommend this company and cannot fault the quality of the finished product.

Another excellent job carried out, this time, by Steve and Adam who replaced two sets of wooden framed windows with UPVC double glazed units. Once we decided what products we wanted, the survey was conducted in great detail which helped the installation go very smoothly. Had all windows and doors replaced for first time after building the house 22 years ago so was anxious of damage being done to the exterior plaster and stonework work, but was reassured by Paul who measured up that it would be minimal and I’m pleased to say this is the case after the job has been completed. We went to the Truhouse showroom in Stroud the staff were brilliant and explained everything there was no pressure. Dan and Josh were brilliant, they quickly removed the shop front door and windows, they checked to ensure safe removal of the glass and wood frames and kept the area clean and tidy. Installation of the new aluminium frames, solid panels and glass was quick and the shop front now looks amazing. The job was completed to a high standard and everything was discussed with me. Truhouse recently fitted a front door in our new house. They were so friendly throughout and were able to get us a made-to-measure composite door which other companies were not able to due to the door not being of standard size. They worked really hard to get the fitting date early as we were unable to lock our existing door from the outside. The fitting went smoothly and the door is really good quality and looks lovely. I would highly recommend this company 5* throughout.

We had three quotes and truhouse although not the cheapest had the most helpful representative who took the time to examine our existing windows and go through the options of what we could have. The installation was trouble-free and the installers were polite and tidy. The installers identified a scratch on one of the glazing units and this is being replaced without quibble. The new windows and door perform well with room temperatures several degrees higher and we are very pleased with the result.

The customer service and communication is very good, the quality of the products is very very good and the price is fair in my view. A wonderful company who I heartily recommend. My sister is disabled, living in a ground floor flat, with a casement window that had failed and was a great security worry. The window was fitted with great care by 2 lovely gentlemen & they spent time adjusting the handles so my sister could open the windows with her weak hands. Another small problem with our windows – not a fault of truhouse. – had a breakdown of seal between glass panes and filling with water.  The support they gave from start to sorted was unbelievably smooth, efficient, and they did everything. Dan, Josh and Jamie came to fit two doors. The work was carried out efficiently and with as little fuss and disruption as could be expected. After they left, some of the trim came away from the wall and we noticed a crack in the architrave, but these little issues were speedily rectified. Highly recommended.

We have just had a new composite front door and side panel fitted by truhouse. The team were so professional, great communication especially in these COVID times and the fitters were excellent. The door has made such a difference to our home, not only relieving security concerns but it’s cut down on the draughty and lets a lot more light into our hall. The door also looks fabulous! Excellent service from start to finish:- 1) Efficient and friendly initial sales and survey visits; 2) Clear communications during lockdown whilst I was “shielding”; 3) Much appreciated storage of our windows and doors during lockdown; 4) Efficient installation by very considerate installers, and finally 5) Good after-sales service with regard to the small blemishes on paintwork on the door etc.

truhouse. have replaced all the old windows in our old renovated house. All such good quality and so so pleased with the work. The blokes arrived on the first morning and I had to rush off to work leaving them to it, having to trust them in the house and I really felt I could. So friendly and helpful and good communication with the staff in the office too. Few very small issues that they were more than accommodating to come back and sort with no issues or problems.

When Stroud Windows changed their name to truhouse. I was concerned that perhaps they were trying to hide a murky past. How wrong was I! I received an excellent, efficient and courteous service from everyone at truhouse. and the online self-design function for Solidor is superb.

Excellent customer service. The windows and doors came the day arranged and nice and early, all fitted efficiently and were good quality and well fitted. I had the choice of colour/material and chrome handle etc. I chose white frames inside and brown outside to fit in with the neighbours but looking fresh and bright inside.
